Volunteers Wanted for ICC Champions Trophy & Women's World Cup

Volunteers at the events will be known as Cricketeers and they will be an integral part of the Champions Trophy and Women's World Cup in a number of functional areas. Individuals will have the opportunity to volunteer at one or both tournaments. 

The Cricketeers programme will support six functional areas at each tournament:

• Accreditation
• Event and sponsors activation
• Hospitality
• Media
• Spectator services
• Transport

ICC Champions Trophy

The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 is an elite 50-over cricket event for the top eight one-day international nations in the MRF ICC ODI rankings.

The tournament takes place from 1-18 June and matches will be played at the following venues:

• Cardiff Wales Stadium, Cardiff 
• Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham
• The Oval, London  

ICC Women's World Cup

The ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 is the pinnacle of the women’s 50-over game and will see the top eight one-day international nations, as reflected in the MRF ICC ODI rankings, competing to lift the coveted trophy on 23 July 2017 at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Kicking off on 26 June, the Women's World Cup will culminate in the final at Lord's on 23 July. The following venues will host matches during the tournament: 

• County Ground, Bristol
• County Ground, Derby
• County Ground, Somerset
• Grace Road, Leicester
• Lord’s Cricket Ground, London – World Cup final

The Cricketeers will be the face of the ICC tournaments, meeting and greeting the spectators, supporting on/off field entertainment and assisting in roles as diverse as ground staff through to media operations.

All Cricketeers must be over the age of 18 by 31 March 2017. There is no upper age limit.
