A Division previews – week 13
North Devon v Kilmington
North Devon (Jack Moore): Reuben Windley returns from travelling. Richard Screech is away for two weeks so young Ed Wilson takes the gloves. Last week’s loss at Torquay was a tough one to take but it's about how you bounce back the week after to put that right and get back on track.
Kilmington (Oli Reed): A few changes to the squad again this week, but it's a more balanced side. Tom Gooding and Matt Reed both return to the team. We're expecting a tough game against one of the promotion favourites. They have plenty of dangerous players, so if we can keep them quiet and play to our strengths we can come away with a positive result. Josh Cann is also looking forward to catching up with a few mates!
Cullompton v Budleigh Salterton
Cullompton (Dan King): Harry Gillam out due injury, but his namesake (Everett) comes back in and Jacob Huntley unluckily misses out to make way for Euan Tinley. Hopefully lads can start to string some longer time at the crease and we can put together a decent score with the bat; in the field, we've been there or thereabouts for the last few weeks, so want to keep that positive momentum going forward.
Budleigh Salterton (Ed Doble): Again team doesn’t really change too much, with Jack England back in for Harvey Shipton. Hopefully we can create some momentum now and see where it takes us?
Thorverton v Ivybridge
Thorverton (Jake Choules): Couple of changes this week. Alex Jopling is missing the next couple as he’s representing England in the touch rugby Euros in France. A blow for us as he’s having a good season with the ball.
On the positive side, Sam Hardwicke found some form in the 2nd XI last week and Luke Vukusic is also back. The next three games are likely to be critical as we play three sides just about within catching distance before we have to play the top three in the final run in.
Ivybridge (Adam Huxtable): We have Josh Coker and Abraham Kopparambil in for Josh Zimmerman and Tom Worth. I want us to bring the same energy as we brought last week in what will be another tough game. Still looking for that complete performance from us but I’m sure it’s not far away.
Bovey Tracey v Heathcoat
Bovey Tracey (Seb Ansley): George Yabsley in to replace Ollie Clifford-Bourne and someone else yet determined to replace me due to another Saturday wedding.
Heathcoat (Jamie drew): Finn Stoneman and Freddie Bucknell are both unavailable. James Gregson comes in along with Matt Hodson who has been impressing for the 2nd XI. Looking to push on from last week’s win. Very close win against them at home and Bovey is always a tough place to go. Looking forward to a good game.
Bridestowe & B v Torquay & Kingskerswell
Bridestowe & Belstone (Tallan Burns):
Torquay & Kingskerswell (Harry Baxendale):
