Mid-Devon T20 finals cancelled

TODAY’s T20 finals day in the Mid-Devon Friendly League at Cheriton Fitzpaine has been cancelled due to bad weather.

Two semi-finals and a final were planned to decide this years 2018 champions.

Organisers have not had a lot of luck with the weather as their first attempt in mid-August was also rained off.

Mike Foan, one of the league officials, said: “The bloody rain has won again!”

Foan said it was hoped to have a finals day as a curtain raiser to the 2019 season.
