The Devon Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce exciting changes to its staffing structure.

Following the growth in the community cricket programmes across the county, a new Community department has been created with the aim of leveraging the power of cricket to foster positive change, enhancing confidence, communication, leadership, and independence among participants. The creation of the new department signals the Foundation's commitment to expanding our community offering and delivering cricket to new audiences.

Alex Jopling takes on the role of Head of Community.

Alex Jopling, formerly Clubs & Programmes Manager, will now be heading the Community department at the Devon Cricket Foundation, with oversight of our school and community programmes (Chance to Shine Street, MCC Foundation Hubs, Super1s and Wicketz), and managing the team of Community Engagement Officers and Community Cricket Coaches.

As part of this new role, Alex will now be working three days a week for the Devon Cricket Foundation and will be stepping away from his club development responsibilities. The Devon Cricket Foundation will soon be seeking a new Club Development Officer to support clubs and National Programmes, with Alex covering this role until an appointment is made.

Damian Price takes on the role of Community Engagement Officer (North & East).

Damian Price, formerly East Devon Club & Community Coach, and Vicky Reeve, formerly Wicketz Development Officer, will move into the roles of Community Engagement Officer North & East and South & West, respectively. Their roles will now see them manage Lord's Taverners programmes (Super1s, Wicketz and SEND Schools Programmes), and support Chance to Shine Street and MCC Foundation Girls' Hubs in their regions.

Vicky Reeve takes on the role of Community Engagement Officer (West & South).

We will be maintaining four Community Cricket Coaches, who will deliver Chance to Shine Schools Programmes, support the Community Engagement Officers with their programmes, and promote junior cricket at clubs across their regions.

We are currently seeking an energetic and skilled East Devon Community Cricket Coach. The full job description and application form can be found on our website.

Further to the changes to the Foundation's structure, Lewis Fountain has left his position as Disability Development Officer after four years in the role, with Damian and Vicky taking on the responsibility for Disability Cricket in their regions. The Foundation would like to thank Lewis for his commitment to the role and wish him every success in the future.
