Friday marked the conclusion of the 2026 season, as players, parents, and guardians joined coaches and staff at Newton Abbot Racecourse for our annual awards evening.
It has been another season featuring significant team performances for Devon:
The Under 16 Boys reached the quarter-finals of the One Day Cup, where they fell to an 89-run defeat at the hands of Surrey; while the Under 18 Boys were quarter-finalists in the National Counties T20 Cup and finished third in their Three-Day County Championship division.
There was success for both senior Devon sides as well: Devon Women were crowned Metro Bank One Day Cup Tier 3 Champions, while Devon County Cricket Club ended a 15-year wait for national silverware when they beat Buckinghamshire by 122 runs on the fourth morning of the NCCA Cluberly Championship final. Devon County Cricket Club were also semi-finalists in the NCCA Dojo T20 Cup, where they lost to eventual winners Berkshire by six wickets.
The Devon Cricket Foundation would like to place on record its thanks to all of the players, coaches, umpires, scorers, parents, guardians, and all the venues that have hosted county matches this season.
