Devon Women return to Metro Bank One Day Cup action on Sunday at 10:30am as they host Buckinghamshire at Budleigh Salterton CC.
This weekend's game will be the final league match until June, with the Vitality T20 Women's County Cup set to take over during the month of May.
The side will be looking to build on their strong opening day 4-wicket win against Berkshire last week in the second of four successive home matches in the 50-over competition.
Buckinghamshire come into the game having also won their opening day fixture on Monday, a 4-wicket home win against Cambridgeshire at a rain-affected Wormsley Cricket Estate.
Sunday will mark the first time both sides have played each other in nearly seven years, when Devon Women secured promotion to Division 2 of the Women's T20 Cup.
David Joseph's Thoughts
"Last Sunday was a good start to the season, lots of positives and also areas we have identified we can develop moving forward.
"We’ll look to build on the great result against Bucks. We are very lucky to have a strong squad with players putting pressure on the starting 12 as the season progresses.
"It was also fantastic to see the amount of support the team got last week from a good crowd last week. We enjoyed the experience and will look to play in the same positive fashion on Sunday."
Captain's Thoughts
"After last weekend's performance, I feel we have started with a good platform to build on with some areas to develop and improve on.
"It's another great opportunity for players to showcase their skills and for us as a squad to back up the weekend performance with what will hopefully be another positive result."
Katie Donovan's Preview
"The win was a brilliant and encouraging start for the team, plus the five-for came as a nice surprise too!
"We’ll be looking to bring the same energy with the ball, bat and on the field, against Bucks this weekend."
