The South Devon Cricket League are looking for new clubs to join for the 2025 season.
The league is welcoming clubs looking for a social, yet competitive environment to play cricket on Sundays to increase the number of teams competing.
Last season saw eight teams compete across two divisions, with Plympton CC overcoming Royal Devon CC in the play-off final. A 20-over cup was also run for those sides who wanted to play more than the seven league matches.
The South Devon Cricket League has been designed to cater to all skill levels and ages, creating an ideal space for young players stepping up from junior to adult cricket.
The league will also prove appealing to players who love the game but prefer a shorter, more relaxed format, as well as for more experienced players seeking a sociable and friendly match atmosphere.
The competition also gives parents and children the chance to share the field and create memorable cricketing moments together.
The South Devon Cricket League will be hosting their AGM on Thursday, 9 January at Exeter Court Hotel, at which point arrangements will be finalised for next season.
Clubs interested in entering a team should contact the South Devon Cricket League's Acting Secretary, Sheila Harding, ahead of the date.
