Friday marked the 30th anniversary of the very first Devon County celebration of success evening, with the 2025 season being brought to a close as players, parents, and guardians joined coaches and staff at Newton Abbot Racecourse.

Coaches and staff were joined by special guest and 2024 Buller Bowl winner Fin Hill as they looked back at each county side's respective seasons and celebrated players' and teams' achievements.

It has been another season featuring significant team performances for Devon:

The Under 16 Boys reached the semi-finals of the ECB County Cup, where they fell to a strong Surrey side. The Under 18 Boys were also beaten semi-finalists in the County Plate, losing to Essex in the final ball of the game, and finished runners-up in both Group 4 of the ECB Under 18 County Championship and the Vitality Under 18 Boys County T20 cup.

There was success for both senior Devon sides as well: Devon Women finished top of Division 1 in the League Three Metro Bank One Day Cup season, before losing in the final against second-placed Berkshire at Kibworth CC, while Devon County Cricket Club secured the NCCA Western Division Championship before losing in a thrilling national final against Buckinghamshire at West Bromwich Dartmouth CC.

The Devon Cricket Foundation would like to place on record its thanks to all of the players, coaches, parents and guardians, all the venues that have hosted county matches this season, and Fin Hill for joining us in presenting the awards on the evening.

The Foundation would also like to thank Mark Lockett for his continued support in capturing our County Age Group teams on camera, and Dan Trott and Jennie Kirkup, who have also contributed with photographs across the season.
