IVYBRIDGE wrapped up the season with a festival week of cricket at Filham Park.

Tournaments involving local clubs were organised for a different age group each day of the week, starting with under-nines on Monday and ending with an adult six-a-side tournament on the Sunday.

“During the week nearly 100 children played in the competitions and enjoyed very competitive, but fun cricket,” said Stafford Williams from Ivybridge CC.

Teams from Cornwood, Plympton, Lewdown, Bridestowe and Plymstock took part.

“In each tournament the aim was for each team to play the others.

“Winners for the under-11s and under-13s were Ivybridge. Plympton won the under-15 tournament.
