LOOKING AHEAD IN THE A DIVISION – WEEK 16
Torquay & Kingskerswell (top) v Heathcoat (3rd)
Torquay & Kingskerswell (Harry Passenger): Obviously big time the business end of the season, a win last week has lifted the lads. Big one against Heathcoat and hopefully we’re home and dry. They’ve been putting in some performances of late so we’re looking forward to the first of 2 games in a row at the home of cricket.
Heathcoat (Jamie Drew): Just the one change this week. Joe Parkinson comes back in after missing out through illness last week to replace James Gregson who is on holiday. Big game this week, hopefully we can keep the good form going.
Bridestowe & Belstone v Cullompton
Bridestowe & Belstone (Craig Penberthy): Two changes from last week sees Brandon Horn (Dino) and James Ewen back from their holidays to replace Sam Ewen and Toby Gozman who are away with other commitments. We know the last two weeks have been nowhere near the standards we set. Lads aware that we have three big cup finals over the next three weeks to make sure we stay in the division. We’re well aware of the dangers that Cully post and the form they’re in over the last few weeks and expecting another tough game. Looking forward to getting back out at Millaton where hopefully we can refined our form and get back to winning games of cricket and enjoying our Saturdays again.
Cullompton (Dan King): Lee Hooper and Felix Joseph out (other commitments). Arthur Stephens comes back in. Looking to build some real momentum going into the last rounds. Big opportunity against Bridestowe to determine our own destiny! Always a tough match down there.
Bovey Tracey (7th) v Ivybridge (5th)
Bovey Tracey (Seb Ansley): Still finalising with the 1s, 2s and 3s all in precarious positions. Do know we have Tom Andrew and one of last week's heroes Chris Yabsley out this week so two to come in. Make or break for us, hotting-up even more with the others on our tails and 8th v 9th this weekend! 
Ivybridge (Adam Huxtable): Josh Bullock comes in for his first-team debut. We've been really impressed with how he's been going in the 2s so it's about time he gets the chance to come up.Farzad Safi drops out. Looking for of us to stand up and put in some big peformances in the final stretch of the season
North Devon (2nd) v Thorverton (10th)
North Devon (Jack Moore): Tom Ansell back in. Last week didn't go to plan however that's got to be forgotten and looking to get back on track straight away. As we learnt last week , it's a tough league where everyone can beat anyone which means we won't be taking a strong Thorverton side lightly.
Thorverton (Jake Choules): Quite a challenging week of availability throughout the club. A few veterans were keen to help us out but not eligible due to intricate league rules at this stage of the season. Last week’s openers that put on 100 not available but we have a young side that are quite rightly looking forward to playing at Instow. There is a debut for Freddie Davidson as he and Nathan Buckeridge get us up to four teenagers in the side and we look to the future.
Kilmington (5th) v Budleigh Salterton (3rd)
Kilmington (Oli Reed): Not great availability this week for the 1s for various reasons, so we make three changes from last week. Rob Crabb, Ben Fuzzard and Joel Seward, who is out with a broken thumb, are all unavailable. All three will be a big miss. Back from travelling, Joe Elsworth returns, along with two players called up from the 2s. The aim is simple: enjoy ourselves, compete hard and pick up as many points as possible as we continue working towards our target of remaining in the division.
Budleigh Salterton (Ed Doble): Few changes to this week’s team with both Sid Fereday back and Nate James, back from playing rugby in New Zealand, in for his first game with the gloves with Jimmy (Doble) away
