AROUND THE WICKETS IN THE A DIVISION

Bovey Tracey v Kilmington

Bovey Tracey (Seb Ansley): One change, Ollie Clifford-Bourne out again. Back in comes the ever-youthful Pete Bradley after his wickets and rear-guard action for the 2nd XI against Clyst St George.  Had some good fixtures against Kilmington before, but need to get ourselves back on course with a solid performance.

Missing: Josh ZimmermanKilmington (Oli Reed): Full availability this week. Back in from last week, Josh Cann, Joel Seward, Sam Farrow, Ben Fuzzard and Matt Reed. Bovey are always a competitive side who play good cricket, so we know it’ll be a tough test. We’re looking forward to a good game against a strong team.

Cullompton v Ivybridge

Cullompton (Dan King): An unchanged line-up for this weekend. Looking to build on a strong performance with the bat and ball. There's room for some fine-tuning in the field and the boys are looking forward to that challenge.

Ivybridge (Adam Huxtable): Josh Zimmerman out and Jake Dunn back in. Looking to put it right this week with the bat. The lads are training hard and putting in the work. We haven’t played Cullompton in a few years so we are looking forward to the challenge.

North Devon v Torquay & Kingskerswell

North Devon (Jack Moore): Tom Ansell in for Ed Wilson. James Lake also. A good win last week but plenty of room for improvement in all three dimensions if we are going to take on what looks like a strong Torquay side.

Torquay & Kingskerswell (Harry Passenger): There’s been a little bit of movement in the side this week but nothing too major after the win against Bovey last weekend. Hopefully we can carry a bit of momentum into this one and keep improving week by week. North Devon is always one of our tougher games, especially when their lads are in form. The main thing from our perspective is just putting together another good, all-round performance, and that’s bound to put us in good positions.

Thorverton v Heathcoat

Thorverton (Jake Choules): Feels like our season starts in earnest this week after a tricky start. Slaviero, Yelverton and Daldorph are back available so it makes perfect sense to bring them in. A tough game against Heathcoat but we need to get the first win sooner rather than later. A big weekend with the Twenty20 cup on Sunday at home to Ivybridge.

Heathcoat (Jamie Drew): Two changes this week, Ben Pitkin is unavailable, and Dan Butler misses this week as he has a charity walk. James Gregson comes back in after military duties. Will Thompson is down from London and slots in adding some fire power in the middle. Looking forward to hopefully another good game Thorverton seamer Shane Yelverton

Bridestowe & B v Budleigh Salterton

Bridestowe & Belstone (Tallan Burns): Strong availability throughout the club has resulted in a few changes. Kian Burns returns to the side and Tom Fogerty and Sam Ewen make their first appearances of the season. Looking forward to a competitive game of cricket against a strong team.

Budleigh (Ed Doble): Hoping to bounce back after last week, back in is James Doble after illness and Ollie Blakeman.
