THORVERTON V ABBOTSKERSWELL

Thorverton (Jake Choules): Pleased to have senior players Dan Robbins and George Greed back, which will strengthen the batting in particular. Coming off a couple of bad results, but we are still unbeaten at home and I have every confidence we can keep it that way if we focus on our own performance and stick to the plan.

Abbotskerswell (Nick Watkin): Niall McCarthy comes back in after completing his travels around Ghana and Mozambique. Alfie Harrison (15) comes back in after his impressive debut against Tavistock and continued good form in the 2nd XI. Thorverton are a really good side, but one that we have a good record against. Really looking forward to the game on a good wicket against a good side with hopefully good weather.

PLYMOUTH V BRIDESTOWE

Plymouth (Sam Stein): Hoping to build on our recent form, but we know Bridestowe have started well since coming up this year. The odd change - Tom Hughes, Matt Witcher and (spinner) Zak Saleem (pictured) back in – all good options to have this week. Strong again from us - hoping to get another win on the board

Bridestowe (Tallan Burns): There will be a few changes due to unavailability. Waiting on injuries before we confirm the 11. Looking to build on a good performance last weekend. We know where we need to improve so will be looking to bring this into our game.

TORQUAY V NORTH DEVON

Torquay (Harry Passenger): Robbie Shergold back from a long sabbatical. After a tricky loss and a further tricky week of availability, the boys are training well and looking forward to a tough game against North Devon.

North Devon (Jack Moore): A Couple changes from last week. Have recruited Theo Valeri who is Australian but English passport. Strong all-rounder and will play this weekend. Looking forward to playing at Torquay, always a good game versus them. Looking forward to seeing Jack Whittaker get out there after making training for the first time in two years this week.

PLYMSTOCK V HATHERLEIGH

Plymstock (James Nicholls): Two changes for us. Matt Whalley has a school game and Olly Mulberry is away. Back from holiday is ‘blond bombshell’ Tom Mitch. Up from the 2nd XI, after a great start to the season, is Jamie Palfreyman, who is very deserving of a spot in the side. Looking to build on last week's result. Training has been great again and we are looking forward to welcoming Hatherleigh. We know they are a very good side so we have to keep improving and doing the basics well.

Hatherleigh (Mark Lake): Three changes this week. Ryan Quick on holiday. Sean Letheren injured and Charlie Nielsen unavailable. Paul Heard and Adam Quick come in. Greg Solkin will make his 1st XI debut. Don't know much about Plymstock; haven't played them for a long time. Expecting a tough game and we need to improve in all areas to get a positive result

TAVISTOCK V KILMINGTON

Tavistock (Charlie Barriball): Another week of four changes or so. In come Shaun Daymond, Ash Woodrow, Steve Luffman and Rich Edlmann to replace James McGahey, Mark Lewis, Caolin Wukics and Ian Gray, all unavailable for selection this week. Another tough game and we really need to get our season going as this weekend marks a third of it gone and we are well off where we expected to be at this stage.

Kilmington (Brett Garner): Two changes this week. Tom Olive is on call for work so young Connor Trott comes in from the 2nd XI  for his first-team debut. Matt Pile in for his first game of the season in place of Alex Rockett. Looking to try put a run of good performances together and expect a tough game against an experienced and good team.
