Devon Cricket are delighted to announce the appointment of Lauren Rowles as Head Coach of Devon Women.
Lauren joins the team with an impressive coaching pedigree, having spent four years as Assistant Coach and then Regional Talent Manager at Central Sparks, where she played an integral part in developing players from EPP and Academy cricket into professional cricket.
Lauren was appointed Head Coach of Gloucestershire Women in February 2025, making her the youngest county head coach in the country at just 32. Her experience also includes coaching positions with various county pathways, giving her a strong foundation in both talent development and elite performance.
Since 2022, Lauren has also been the Head Coach of England Men's Learning Disability Team, where she has coached Devon's Dan Bowser, and she will be continuing her involvement with England Men's Mixed Disability Senior and Lions squads alongside her duties with Devon Women.
Speaking on her new role, Lauren said:
"I'm incredibly excited to take on the role of Devon Women's Head Coach and to be part of what lies ahead.
"I'm looking forward to supporting and developing the talented players within Devon and helping shape a positive future for the game."
Lauren will be ably assisted by Jon Musikanth, who takes on the role of Assistant Coach, with Sean Day moving on to become the Lead Coach of the Devon Under 15 Boys.
Devon Cricket would like to place on record its gratitude to Sean for the work he has done with Devon Women over the last two seasons.

Devon Women start their preparations for the 2026 season with a 50-over friendly against the University of Exeter on Saturday, 11 April at Topsham Sports Ground, Exeter Road, Topsham EX3 0LY.
