Devon Women return to T20 action in a double-header against top-of-the-league Oxfordshire and Wales on Sunday, July 28, at Topsham Sports Ground from 10:30am.

Devon Women, fresh on the heels of securing first place in Group 3 of the 50-over County Championship earlier this month, go into the penultimate double-header of the season looking to bounce back from their only defeat of the season last time out in the T20 format.

After the first double-header of the season at Ivybridge CC was rained off, Devon came out on top against Wiltshire by 28 runs but lost by 7 wickets to Hampshire in the second double-header at Potterne CC in June.

Oxfordshire sit at the top of the table having won three of their four matches this season, including a 86-run win against Cornwall and a 78-run win against Dorset in their last T20 double-header.

Wales currently occupy fourth spot, having secured both of their wins this season in their last double-header against Somerset (by 39 runs) and Gloucestershire (by 16 runs).

David Joseph's Thoughts

"This season has seen us really gel as a squad. In the 50-over competition, we really showed what we are capable of with bat, ball and in the field. Now we are looking to enjoy the T20s and really express ourselves.

"I'm looking forward to seeing what we can achieve!"

Captain's Thoughts

"After such a strong end to the 50-over competition, we will look to continue to show the strength of this team going into the T20 league.

"We are excited to get back into the shorter format and see how we can take on the game!"
