A win for Devon and defeat for Berkshire against Cambridgeshire this weekend would secure a first title for Devon under the new tiered format for women's cricket.
Devon remain the only side in the division with a 100% win record, but failed to secure a bonus point last time out in a close encounter with relegation-threatened Wiltshire.
Cheshire sit in fourth spot, having beaten second-bottom Cambridgeshire by 6 wickets last weekend.

Devon Women secured their place in the Metro Bank One Day Cup Finals Day despite Sunday's game against Cheshire being washed out.
Opening seamers Maddie Russell and the on-loan Erin Vukusic frustrated the hosts' opening pair of Ellie Mason and Grace Michell, but neither they nor Imogen Daldorph, Ellie Bishop or Jojo Baylis (who bowled just one ball) were able to find a breakthrough before the rain came in the 15th over.
After an early lunch and an unrelenting downpour, captains Steph Hutchins and Roshini Prince-Navaratnam shook hands at 2pm and the match was abandoned, handing each side two points.
