With just 4 games across the county this week, the T20 Trophy, T20 8 a Side, and T20 Plate games leagues were all in action.

T20 Trophy

Plymouth vs Exmouth

Plymouth welcomed Exmouth for their latest T20 Plate fixture, with the hosts winning the toss and electing to bat first. A strong team batting performance saw Plymouth post an impressive 169 from their 20 overs. Molly Kerry top-scored with an unbeaten 42, while Melissa Banks (34), Bella Greenwood (28) and Erin Milsom (36*) all made valuable contributions to give the home side a commanding total.

Exmouth's reply never quite gathered momentum as wickets fell at regular intervals, making the required run rate increasingly difficult to maintain. Laila Escott battled hard with an unbeaten 25 from 37 balls, but with little support from the other end, the visitors were unable to build any meaningful partnerships. Plymouth's disciplined bowling attack kept the pressure on throughout, restricting Exmouth to finish 62 runs short of the target.

T20 8 a Side Group A

Bovey Tracey 2nds vs Clyst St George

Bovey Tracey's winning form continued through to their 2nd XI as they claimed a three-wicket victory over Clyst St George to move to the top of the table. Clyst won the toss and elected to bat first, making an excellent start through Chloe Williams (36) and Iona Murrin (38), who shared a 76-run opening partnership. Bella Wells (15*) and Hannah Dawe (24*) kept the scoreboard ticking over in the closing overs as the hosts finished on 130/2 from their allotted overs.

Bovey's reply began with an early setback after losing a wicket in the second over, but Isabelle Bradley anchored the chase with a superb 56. Contributions from Evie Lockett (20), Isabella Baker (7), Zara Joseph (19*) and Lily Driver (1*) ensured the visitors stayed on course despite losing regular wickets. Bovey eventually reached their target with three wickets to spare, extending the club's impressive winning run and moving their 2nd XI to the top of the table.

T20 Plate Group C

Bradninch & Kentisbeare vs Cullompton

Cullompton travelled to Bradninch for their latest T20 Plate group-stage fixture, with the visitors winning the toss and electing to field first. Bradninch & Kentisbeare posted a competitive total thanks to a composed unbeaten 41 from Fi Morgan. Emma Farley (10), Jess Phillips (13) and Yvonne Jackson (18*) all made useful contributions as the hosts finished on 107 from their 20 overs.

Cullompton's reply got off to the worst possible start, losing three wickets inside the opening two overs. The visitors were unable to recover as regular wickets prevented any meaningful partnerships from developing against a disciplined Bradninch bowling attack. Colette Bamber and Daisy Stein were the standout performers with the ball, each claiming three wickets, as Bradninch bowled Cullompton out for 85 to secure a 22-run victory.

T20 Plate Group D

Teignmouth and Shaldon vs Bovey Tracey

Teignmouth & Shaldon played their second T20 Plate fixture after South Devon conceded the previous week's match. Teignmouth won the toss and elected to field first, but Bovey Tracey's batters proved unstoppable. Despite using 10 different bowlers, the hosts were unable to make a breakthrough as Amelie Webber and Emily Martin both retired unbeaten on 81, guiding Bovey to a commanding 203/0 from their 20 overs.

Teignmouth & Shaldon battled hard in reply against a disciplined Bovey bowling attack. Tilly Yates led the resistance with an unbeaten 28, but with little support from the other end, the hosts struggled to build partnerships or keep pace with the required run rate. They finished on 68/9, as Bovey completed a comprehensive victory to continue their outstanding form, marking their ninth win of the season across all competitions.
