The Tolchards Devon Women’s Cricket League T20 Trophy continues on Tuesday evening as Paignton welcome Plymouth for a 6pm start by the seaside.

Plymouth arrive full of confidence after a fantastic performance against Paignton in the Sunday League just last week. Despite taking to the field with only eight players, Plymouth produced a superb display to secure victory and will be hoping to carry that momentum into the shorter format.

They will once again look to overseas player Missy Banks, who smashed a century against Paignton in that league encounter, while Darcey Boote also reached three figures in a remarkable batting performance.

Paignton, though, boast plenty of quality of their own. Devon pair Ellie Bishop and Jemima Vereker (pictured) bring class with both bat and ball, while Katie Harman will be looking to spearhead the bowling attack and make early inroads into a dangerous Plymouth batting lineup.

With plenty of talent on both sides and recent history between the teams, it promises to be a fun Tuesday evening of T20 cricket by the seaside.
