In celebration of the launch of the new ECB #wegotgame campaign, we launch the Devon Cricket Girl's League which creates a complete player pathway for girls from All Stars all the way to Women's Softball and Devon Women Hardball teams. The campaign starts as the England Women start their defense of the ICC Women's World Cup in New Zealand, playing Australia on March 5th.

With the Women's World Cup, the Commonwealth games and The Hundred all being televised this summer, there is no better time to inspire your young women to play cricket....and they can follow all the action on the new instagram account @wegotgameofficial

In Devon many girls will start their campaign in their own softball and hardball leagues across the county, co-ordinated by the county board and run by a dedicted group of managers and coaches. With 40 teams across 13 leagues it is going to be a busy summer!

Watch this short video to find out more about the new girl's leagues or visit the webpages on Devon Cricket for the softball league and hardball league.

This season, girls in Devon are able to access the format of cricket that they want to play, whether that be pairs, softball, hardball or countdown cricket. The ECB campaign is designed to inspire more women and girls to say that cricket is the game for them. The campaign will be not only be promoting players and the playing environment but also focusing on the personality and passions of the players of the field. With International Women's Day on Tuesday March 8th, it is an ideal time to start thinking about how you can promote the women and girls game at your club.
