Last term the focus for Devon’s Club and Community Coaches was promoting the All Stars and Dynamos programme being run at local clubs. It also saw a new coach start in South Devon.

East Devon – Damian Price

“The lead up to and the beginning of the cricket season has been extremely busy, highlighting the opportunities for boys and girls to get involved with All Stars, Dynamos and Junior sections at their local cricket clubs. During term 5 I delivered 21 engagement days across East Devon, supporting clubs including Axminster, Cullompton, Thorverton, Whimple, Seaton and Exmouth. It has been great to visit so many schools and get so many children excited for the new cricket season. Its also been extremely encouraging to see the numbers of children sign up to All Stars and Dynamos programmes across East Devon.

Enagagment days at: St Andrews, Trinity, Lympstone, Axminster, Thorverton, Brixington, St Nicholas, Upottery, Plymtree, Uffculme, Clyst Heath, Kentisbeare, Seaton, Stoke hill, Stoke Cannon, Exeter Road, Newton Poppleford, Sidmouth, Willowbank and St Martins.

During the term I also visited The Topsham School, to deliver a 6 week programme, where the children showed a great improvement in all of their skills by the end of the 6 weeks, and helped to deliver a Secondary School Girls Leadership programme with Ann Marie.

The next term is just as busy, with 4 whole school programmes being delivered at Woodbury, St Andrews (Cullompton), Littleham (Exmouth) and St Peters (Budleigh Salterton). I will also be delivering a number of Engagement days as well.”
