SHIVNARINE Chanderpaul heads a star-studded cast of players recruited by Lashings for tomorrow’s game against Plymouth at Mount Wise.

Lashings generally pack their sides with stars from the recent past, but sometimes they have a surprise or two up their sleeves.

Chanderpaul is still going strong for Lancashire in the County Championship – as the ton he scored against Yorkshire last week proved.

The likely Lashings team is: Wasim Jaffer (India), Kirk Edwards (West Indies), Usman Afzaal (England), Chris Schofield (England), Yasir Arafat (Pakistan), Chris Lewis (England), Tino Best (West Indies), John Embury (England), Charl Willoughby (South Africa), Devon Malcolm (England), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (West Indies).

Plymouth are hoping for a full house at Mount Wise for the game, which starts at 4pm.

All 300 hospitality seats in tents around the ground sold out within days of going on sale.

Ground admission to the match will be free and as it is half-term week the club expects families to head for Mount Wise for a cricket day out.

The advice to spectators is to park at Plymouth Albion as there won't be any spaces at Mount Wise for cars.
