Devon Women are back in action for the first time this season on Sunday, travelling to face Dorset at Canford School for an 11am start time.

The match is Devon Women's first match in almost a year, with the side's last match having taken place at the Cooper Associates County Ground last May, when they beat Cornwall by 4 runs to secure a third-place finish on Finals Day.

The game is set to be Devon Women's first 50-over match since 2019, when the side finished fourth in Division Two of the Women's County Championship. This was the final season of the Women's County Championship.

David Joseph's Thoughts

"We're looking forward to getting the season started after a good winter indoors.

"We have a young squad who are excited about playing both 50-over and T20 cricket and getting a chance to show their skills."

Captain's Thoughts

"We are looking forward to kicking the season off well, starting with a 50-over game which will be a first in four years for the women's side.
