IT’S semi-finals day at South Devon CC tomorrow (Sunday) in the Aaron Printers T20 Cup.

First up at (11am) on the Newton Abbot club’s ground is the semi-final between Torquay and Paignton.

Torquay will have happy memories of their last trip to Marsh Road as they defeated South Devon by 30 runs in a high-scoring quarter-final.

Paignton’s path to the final took them via a win over Stoke Gabriel and a last-eight victory over Barton.

Bovey Tracey and Ipplepen are scheduled to meet in the other semi-final, which is due to get under way at 3pm.

Neil Hancock (73) and Tom Durman (64) were the big scorers for Ipplepen in their 44-run quarter-final win over Teignmouth & Shaldon.

Bovey Tracey 2ndXI overcame Dartington & Totnes in the other quarter-final. Freddie Ford was the man of the match for Bovey with 62 not out and three for 20 as D&T were bowled out for 99 chasing 141 to win.

The final will be played on the South Devon ground on Sunday, August 8.
