Alison Davidson is a long-term Trustee of the Devon Cricket Foundation, having first joined the board in 2018.

Alison is a dedicated Trustee of the Devon Cricket Foundation and the driving force behind our safeguarding efforts. Alison brings a wealth of experience, a passion for sport, and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all involved in cricket across Devon.
With over 25 years of experience in sports management, Alison’s career spans roles within National Governing Bodies, charitable organisations, local authorities, and the University of Exeter. This extensive background has equipped her with a deep understanding of sports governance, pathway development, and the critical importance of safeguarding within sport.
A cornerstone of Alison's expertise is her ability to foster partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for growth and development in sport. Her strategic approach has consistently delivered impactful initiatives that benefit athletes, organisations, and communities alike.
Alison lives in Somerset with her family, where her love for cricket thrives both personally and professionally. Her two children are actively involved in the game, playing for local clubs and school teams, giving Alison an authentic, firsthand perspective on the importance of safeguarding in youth cricket.
As the Trustee responsible for safeguarding, Alison is committed to ensuring that cricket in Devon is a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, from young players to seasoned club members. Her leadership is instrumental in guiding the Devon Cricket Foundation's safeguarding strategy, helping us uphold the highest standards of care and inclusion.
As the Director of Sport and Grounds at the University of Exeter, Alison also plays a major part in the Foundation's strategic partnership with the university.
