The Devon Cricket Foundation is delighted to welcome Chris Brown as its new East Devon Community Cricket Coach.
Our Community Cricket Coaches are responsible for delivering our Chance to Shine Schools Programmes and promoting National Programmes across their regions, as well as working on our Lords' Taverners Wicketz and Super1s programmes and MCC Foundation Hubs.
Chris joins us having previously worked for Premier Education, where he held the role of Franchise Manager delivering sports coaching at primary schools across the South West.
Speaking on joining the Devon Cricket Foundation, Chris said:
"I'm excited to get going in a role which I think will make a great difference to the community.
"I really enjoyed my previous role, but I am now excited to focus just on cricket and grow the passion I have for the sport in others across Devon."
Chris takes over the role from Damian Price, who took on the role of Community Engagement Officer for North and East Devon as part of the Devon Cricket Foundation's staffing restructure earlier this year.
Speaking on Chris' appointment, Head of Community Alex Jopling said:
"It is great to have Chris on board as our new East Devon Community Cricket Coach. His wealth of experience in schools sport coaching will be a real asset to the Community team.
"I look forward to seeing him excel in this role and build on the great work that Damian has done over the last five years."
