Devon Women are in T20 action this weekend as they welcome both Cornwall & Shropshire to Budleigh Salterton CC in the first round of the NatWest Women's T20 competition. "We have some real quality in our side, which is shown by having 6 of our squad involved in the new women's Super League” said Head Coach Trevor Griffin.  “It’s an exciting time to get our T20 campaign off to a flying start - our form of late in the 50 over competition has suffered a bit of a setback, so the change to T20 is a great opportunity for the players to go out and really express themselves"

The competition has 9 teams in the league, 3 teams playing each other over 4 weekends.  Devon host the first round on Sunday 26th June with Cornwall and Shropshire the visitors, Devon are then on the road to Northamptonshire, Derbyshire and Hertfordshire for the following rounds.

This Sunday’s games will see Devon take on Shropshire at 10:30, Shropshire v Cornwall at 13:30 and Devon v Cornwall at 16:30.  Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
