SOMERSET team-mates Jamie Overton and Dom Bess will be on opposite sides when Sidmouth entertain North Devon tomorrow.

Bess, out in the cold at Taunton right now, will be making his first appearance of the season for home-town club Sidmouth.

Overton has a free weekend as far as Somerset action is concerned and has been freed to play for his home club.

Veteran keeper-batter and former skipper Rob Ayre comes up from the 2nd XI as part of a reshuffle. Batter Jas Kalsi is another promote.

Jack Hockin, Josh Atkinson and Jack Popham are on the missing list.

Tom Popham, the North Devon captain, said: “It will be another tough test against a strong, well-established Premier division team.

“But we’re going to fight hard to get winning again and gain some momentum to head into the second half of the season.”
