All Stars registration for this summer is flying with 650 children already signed up to centres across the County.

We know that Activators are the key to our All Stars having a brilliant first experience of cricket – it is simply not possible to have too many. That is why we want to encourage you to come along to one of our FREE training evenings next week.

We are running the following 3 sessions, all from 6pm - 9pm:

Monday 15th April @ University of Exeter - Book here

Tuesday 16th April @ Sir John Hunt Academy, Plymouth - Book here

Thursday 18th April @ The Park Community College, Barnstaple - Book here

This training is for both NEW and RETURNING activators, parts of the session might be split to cover aspects for differing levels of experience.

                                  NEW ACTIVATORS

                      RETURNING/LEAD ACTIVATORS

- Understand the ethos of fun as the key element of All Stars Cricket
- Put the needs of child at the centre of everything they do
- Run safe and engaging activities
- Understand and implement basic coaching methods
- Have a growth mindset in relation to every child’s development

- Lead an All Stars Cricket Centre to deliver an outstanding experience

- Support the development of less experienced activators

-  Take broad holistic approach to child development

- Engage and enthuse additional parent volunteers in activity

With All Stars going into the third year, we know that people are more familiar with how it looks and feels and what to expect.  These training evenings also offer a forum in which to share your thoughts and ideas and to pick the brains of other Activators – old and new – to make the All Stars experience in your club the very best it can be!
