ASHBURTON Cricket Club have three more indoor net sessions booked before pre-season practice moves outside.

The next net at South Dartmoor Community College’s Ashmoor Centre will be on Sunday, March 24 between 10-11am.

Two 90-minutes sessions are arranged for April 7 and 14 – both Sundays - also at the Ashmoor Centre. Start time will be 11am.

Three pre-season warm-up matches have been arranged before league cricket starts on May 4.

Half an hour after practice ends on April 14 there is a home game against Dartington & Totnes.

Budleigh Salterton are due to visit Varwell Field on Saturday, April 27.  The following day it is the turn of West Monkton to drop in.

Ashley Berry, who is continuing as captain for a fifth successive season, has already secured Australian Arun Chelvan as the club’s overseas player to bolster the player roster.

Ashburton have entered the Corinthian Cup again for the 2019 season as well as returning to the South Devon League on Sundays.
