DEVON Lions have called-up Sidmouth keeper Tom Moore for the 50-over white-ball friendly against Somerset Academy XI at Bovey Tracey on Sunday (11am).
The Devon management are always keen to run the rule over keepers as possible cover for Matt Thompson in the senior side.
Paignton left-armer Cole Harford, who learned his cricket at Barton, gets another call having played in the defeat by Dorset two weeks ago.
Cornwood’s Aaron Richards is named in a Lions side for the first time.
Richards, a top-order batter, is averaging 43 in league cricket and, according to Lions selector Tim Western ‘deserves an opportunity to show what he can do at the next level up’.
The game is on the fixture list as a two-day affair, but has been reduced to a 50-over, white-ball match.
