Matt Thompson - back behind the stumps for Devon against Cornwall

BOVEY Tracey’s Josh Mailling keeps his place in the Devon side for the three-day Unicorns Championship game against Cornwall.

Josh MaillingMailling was recalled to the side after a four-year absence for the previous game against Wales, which ended in a draw. He made 17 in the first innings and 40 in the second.

Changes to the side see former Somerset batsman Alex Barrow brought in for Tom Lammonby, who is away captaining England U19s, and the return of keeper Matt Thompson, who was work-tied against Wales.

Ed Yeo, who deputised for Thompson, is currently sidelined with a broken hand.

Plymouth’s Joe Hagan-Burt, 12th man for the Wales game, is again in the initial group, which is likely to have at least one more player added once availability issues are resolved.

The match, which is at Werrington near Launceston, gets under way on Sunday at 11am.
