Richard Baggs - runs for Exmouth in their T20 win over Hatherleigh

ROUND One of the Servicemaster Clean Devon T20 Cup continues on Sunday (May 12) with another round of pool matches.

Exmouth are already through after a qualifying from a cut-down pool round at the Maer last Sunday.

Chudleigh entertain Premier sides Heathcoat and North Devon at Kate Brook today in Pool Two.

There is an all-Premier day of T20 action at Sandford where Bradninch and Exeter are the visitors in Pool Five.

Pool Six is being played out at Cornwood where Abbotskerswell and Plympton are the other combatants.

The Pool One round involving Paignton, Sidmouth and Torquay has been delayed as Torquay have other commitments today.

Torquay, who have been Devon T20 champions for the past two seasons, are awy to Wadebridge in the ECB National KO Cup.

Pool Three, which comprises Plympton, Budleigh Salterton and Cullompton, is due to be played a week today.

Exmouth’s eagerly anticipated day of cricket in the Servicemaster Devon Cup last Sunday failed to materialise when Bovey Tracey cried off.

The Maer Ground had been booked on Bank Holiday Sunday for a round of pool four matches involving Exmouth, Bovey Tracey and Hatherleigh.

Bovey’s non-appearance meant only one match was played, instead of three.

Instead of a full day’s cricket, just 27 overs were played as Exmouth thrashed Hatherleigh by eight wickets.

Charlie Nielson (26 ) had the only score of note as Hatherleigh were held to 82 for seven. Ollie Dawe, Bob Dawson and David Lye had two wickets each.

Baggs (31) and Dan Pyle (38) knocked off the runs with the minimum of fuss.
