ENGLAND have named an unchanged side for the third Ashes Test starting at the WACA in Perth tomorrow.
North Devon’s Craig Overton was handed his first cap in the first Test in Adelaide and the Somerset seamer retains his place in the side.
Overton’s first Test wicket belonged to Australia captain Steve Smith.
Mum and dad, Helen and Mark, travelled over from Bideford and were in the stands in Adelaide to see Craig’s debut. So was twin Jamie, who is three minutes younger.
Craig said playing for England was a dream come try, adding: “And to play for a Test team against Australia in Australia is special
"You can't really put it into words what it means, and it was nice my folks were here to see it.
"I hope I've made them proud."
Although England lost the game, Overton took three wickets in the first innings and top scored with 41 when England batted the first time.
Joe Root, the England captain, has decided to change the batting order, with Jonny Bairstow moving up to No. 6 and Moeen Ali batting at No. 7 as the tourists look to come back from 2-0 down in the five-match series.
