NO surprises at Cockington Court where D Division West leaders Kenn thrashed bottom side St Marychuch Old Boys by 10 wickets.

Eight-man St Marychurch were all out for 54 in 31.3 overs.

Wickets were shared and among the stats were a remarkable set of figures by Kenn skipper James Mason, who bowled six overs without conceding a run.

Ben Chaloner (44) and Ben Gannon (11) had the target passed in six and a half overs.

The two sides meet again this Saturday, this time at Kenn.

CHELSTON & Kingskerswell pulled off an unlikely win over Whitchurch after being bowled out themselves for 128.

Ben Hodge took three for 20 to send C&K on their way – no one making more than Mark Faulkner (38).

Whitchurch lost the game in the time it took to slide from 41 for three to 47 for eight – Pat Duke (4-22) doing the damage.

Tom Cotter (27) kept C&K out there a little longer than expected before his side were dismissed for 81.

Whitchurch have a chance for revenge when the sides meet again this Saturday.

EXWICK were on the wrong end of a 276-run hiding when they visited Yelverton.

Yelverton hoisted 314 for seven with opener Dan Cooper (96) and Anis Zubair (95) leading the way.

Cooper and Ben Grove (50) put on 139 for the fifth wicket.

Exwick, who only had 10 men, were skittled for 38. Only Ray Grunsell (18) made it into double figures.

The last seven wickets fell for just three runs. Christiaan Van Niekerk took six of them on the way to figures of seven for two.

Exwick will aim to avoid a similar fate when the sides meet again this Saturday.
