DEVON Under-15s made it three wins on the trot in ECB County Cup when they defeated Cornwall by 104 runs at St Erme.

Put in on a damp wicket by the hosts, Devon decided to be positive and it paid off.

Openers Abraham Kopparambil (65) and James White (46) put on 106 for the first wicket

Louis Morison (29) and Ollie Hannam (24no) kept the momentum going as Devon finished on 261 for eight.

Stump-to-stump and full-length bowling was key as Devon set out for their third ECB Championship victory in as many games.

Jack Moore (3-14) led the way and there were also bowling contributions from Freddie Ford (2-28) and Cole Harford (2-25) as Cornwall were skittled out for 157 with three overs to go.

It was Devon’s third win after victories over Hampshire at Torquay and Somerset at Taunton Vale.

Devon 261-8 (A Kopparambil 65, J White 46, L Morrison 29, O Hannam 24no); Cornwall 157 (C Harford 2-25), J Moore 3-14, F Ford 2-28). Devon bt Cornwall by 104 runs.
