EXETER’S Tom Lammonby has been added to Devon’s travelling party for Sunday’s Unicorns Cup quarter-final against Lincolnshire at Grantham.

All-rounder Lammonby hasn’t featured so far this season as A-level studies have been getting in the way.

Devon have had to have another look at their 12 for the quarter-final as players who have been featuring are either injured or not available.

Somerset staffer Dom Bess is definitely out – he is needed for a Specsavers County Championship game - and there are doubts over all-rounder Matt Golding.

Doubtful - Matt GoldingGolding turned an ankle bowling for Devon in the three-day fixture against Dorset at Sherborne earlier this week and is marginally better than 50-50 to play.

With Jack Dart already missing due to university exams, Devon have to look at the balance of the side.

Lammonby comes in ostensibly as a batter, but offers a left-arm bowling option as well.

If Golding doesn’t make it Devon will have a hole in the bowling attack, which is where Josh King comes in.

King, who bowls seamers for North Devon, was discarded after the first group game when Devon defeated Dorset at Instow.

The availability of keeper Matt Thompson means no place in the travelling party for Finlay Trenouth.

If Devon win on Sunday they will be away to either Cheshire or Hertfordshire in the final.
