Women's soft ball cricket festivals are being run across the country to introduce more women to cricket. The festivals are fun, sociable and allow anyone to get involved and learn new skills.

There are already over 1700 women involved in soft ball cricket and they have said that the festivals are 'active', 'included' and 'competitive'.

It's a great way to spend time with friends, family and to create an experience that will encourage women to keep playing. It also means that women already playing can try something new

It is completely free and once you have signed up clubs will offer quick and fun sessions to help improve bowling, fielding and batting and to get more women interested and feel more confident with the game.

Other counties are also taking part in these festivals such as Somerset, Shropshire and Gloucester.

The next festival is on 16th July at Abbotskerswell CC.

There is even a chance to win tickets to the ICC Women's World Cup Final at Lords.
