Job Title: Pathway & Coaching Manager 

Salary - £26,000 - £27,500 + expenses

Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible)

 18 month contract with a view to extension.

This post with be based in Exeter at the Devon Cricket Centre with travel across the county.

The Devon Cricket Board (DCB) seeks to employ a highly motivated and competent Pathway & Coaching Manager to work as part of their Cricket Development Team.  The successful candidate will join our existing Cricket Development team and will be responsible for supporting and delivering parts of the business plan of the DCB.

The Pathway & Coaching Manager will be responsible for the development and performance pathways within Devon.  The post holder will need to structure the pathway and deliver on it in such a way that enables all players to reach their potential.

They will review, design, manage and maintain a coherent and successful youth development programme, including the appointment and performance management of key of coaching staff (professional and voluntary) for each programme.

The successful candidate will have experience of coaching in development and performance environments as well as working with various partners, managing and developing core programmes and building strong partnerships.  

Candidates must demonstrate both team working skills and the ability to work unsupervised using their own initiative.  Excellent communication, presentation and IT skills will be expected. Applicants must have the ability to live and work in the UK and be able/willing to work some evenings and weekends.

You will be a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm together with good administration and organisational skills. Equally you will be an excellent communicator with a passion for the game and working with young people.
