Daughters / Sisters 14+ of existing players

Local female sports teams wanting a social for the summer

Ex-players who fancy getting back into cricket

Existing players who maybe lost to the game for not wnating to play hardball

The Offer

We are looking for cricket clubs to express an interest in engaging a whole new audience to their club. The DWCA have pulled together a package open to any Devon Cricket affiliated club in the county. The programme to deliver can be run by any volunteer, helper or cricket activator. You don’t need to be a level 2 cricket coach to run this activity.

The activity is running a 10-week programme for one hour a week, this could potentially run alongside your normal junior training thus engaging the mums and other ladies involved at the club. The sessions will just be fun small sided games all with a softball, a free kit for this will be provided by the ECB.

After each session 3 bottles of Prosecco and soft drinks where required would be funded by the DWCA, on completion of the programme the cost of the prosecco (upto £250) will be refunded to the club. During the programme we would like each club to be able to attend a number of informal fun softball festivals run at central venues throughout the summer, the DWCA will provide suitable refreshments throughout the day for all involved.

******Please note that clubs will receive only receive 50% (£125) if they run the programme and don't attend at least one of these festival days.******
