ECB Guidance on Preparing Clubhouses for the Return of Cricket

COVID-19 training is now available for: Sports coaches, volunteers and those who manage and maintain sports club facilities.

ReActivate is a new, free, online training platform, designed to equip anyone working or volunteering in the sport, fitness, leisure and physical activity sector in England with the knowledge and skills they need to confidently return to work or restart their coaching activity, as we emerge from the coronavirus lockdown. 

Funded by Sport England, commissioned by CIMSPA and delivered by a consortium of partners led by Future Active Workforce CIC, ReActivate provides online training that brings government and industry guidance to life in an easily digestible format, giving anyone who needs it the ability to return to their sport and physical activity roles with confidence.

2020 information 

The ECB have now released detailed guidance on preparing clubhouses and grounds for recreational cricket (Step 4 of the ECB Roadmap for the Return of Recreational Cricket). 

This guidance also includes information for those clubs that wish to open their bar and provide any food or drink facilities in accordance with UK Government guidlines for the hospitality sector. 

Recreational cricket activity, including match play is now permitted - you can find the full guidelines on cricket activity here.
