Applications now closed for DSCT £50 helmet and balls offer

The Trust

APPLICATIONS have closed for the David Shepherd Cricket Trust £50 helmets and balls offer

The Trust made the offer in response to changes in the ECB specifications for helmets.

With helmets starting at around £30 each, clubs face a big bill replacing helmets in their youth team kit bags.

The offer was limited to the first 30 clubs to get an application in - and the 30th and final request was received this morning (Friday) from South Brent CC.

The response has been a huge success for the charity.

Applications were received from Exeter, Abbotskerswell, Chagford, Halberton & Sampford Peverell, Newton Tracey, Sidmouth, East Devon Girls, Ivybridge, Paignton, Tavistock, Bovey Tracey, Sidbury, Shaldon, Yealmpton, Filleigh, Kingsbridge, Topsham, Yelverton, Bradninch, Heathcoat, Clyst St George, Ottery St Mary, Barton, South Devon, Plymstock, Buckland Monachorum, Feniton, Exmouth, South Brent and Bridestowe.
