ALL AROUND THE A DIVISION

Latest table

BARTON (7th) v PLYMPTON (2nd)

Barton (Adam Parker): Missing a couple this weekend, but confident we can pull out a good performance on the day and try and get closer to the right end of the table. Always a tough test against Plympton, so we will have to be up for it.

Plympton (Jonty Walliker): Team yet to be finalised, Barton away is a really tough fixture. Looking forward to seeing our spinners bowl on their pitch.

SEATON (10th) v TORQUAY (4th)

Seaton (Matt Hewer): Torquay are a strong side so we'll need to be more than punching above our weight to get anything from this one. Availability is good this weekend and we'll be looking to try and come up with something to challenge them and build on some of the positives from last week’s game against Barton.

Torquay:

EXMOUTH (top) v KILMINGTON (8th)

Exmouth (Lawrence Greenway): Need to keep building on the momentum of the last couple of weeks. Kilmington are a dangerous side, especially with the bat we know they are an explosive side. We need to ensure we are disciplined with bat and ball. Ryan Schaufler comes back in for Pete Turnbull.

Kilmington (Brett Garner): Several players back available, still sorting team. Going to be a tough game against top of the table, but we need to get out there, perform and see where it gets us!

ABBOTSKERSWELL (6th) v BUDLEIGH SALTERTON (3rd)

Abbotskerswell (Nick Watkin): Two changes for us Sam Carpenter and James Tyler in. Osborn (work) and Hussain (injury) out. Expecting a very tough game against a team right in the mix for promotion. I felt our worst performance of the season was against Budleigh earlier on this season and we will need to be 100 times better than we were on that day to get the win.

Budleigh Salterton:

THORVERTON (9th) v EXETER (5th)

Thorverton (Jake Choules): Two changes as Chilcott and Coe are unavailable. George Greed comes back in and there is a debut for teenager Sam Jefferson, who has really impressed in the 2ndXI and in T20s since arriving from Whimple this year. We beat Exeter at their place but are expecting an even tougher challenge this time as they seem to have a lot better availability in the second half.

Exeter: Skipper Robin Fern and batter Harry Fisher away this week. Oli Gribble comes in to keep for Fern. All-rounder Toby Jones also in. All are working to push hard for the second promotion place in what will likely be a close scrap for it.
