B DIVISION BRIEFING

DARTINGTON & TOTNES v BRIDESTOWE

Dartington & Totnes (Mick Rusling):Clearly we need to improve our all-round performance.  We've been underachieving to date this season and need to work hard on all aspects of our game.  We're without Josh Orrell this week. However, Joe Martin will be back and also Kevan Throgmorton, should he recover from illness in time.

Bridestowe (Dan Fogerty): More availability problems, Tom Boother is at a national band competition, Tom Pengelly has a stand at Royal Cornwall and James Ewen at a science convention but we do have Kian Burns and Ryan Dennis back. We've nabbed a couple of wins last couple of weeks with poor performances all round so looking for the batsmen to stick around and bowlers be able to bowl to a plan.

BOVEY TRACEY v CLYST ST GEORGE

Bovey Tracey (Dan Green):A few changes for us Chris Yabsley been called-up to 1st XI and three others are away from last Saturday’s team. But have Archie Christophers and Ryan Bougourd in so looking good. Even though we won on Saturday we made it look closer than it was and need to be more clinical. Looking forward to keeping the winning streak going

Clyst St George (Dan Kendall):One change, Ollie Manning returns in place of Steve Bourke. Anticipating a tough match against one of the top teams in the division. We'll need to give away fewer extras than last week and build one or two big partnerships to put the pressure on their bowlers.

BIDEFORD v CHUDLEIGH

Bideford (Tom Brend):Two changes to side that beat Cullompton. Julian Hayter is unavailable and James Greenleaf drops out. Back come Chris Luxton and promising young batsmen Tom Stone. We're looking for another solid performance in all aspects to hopefully give us back-to-back wins and carry on our strong start

Chudleigh (Adam Kent): Really happy with the spirit of the side last week and looking to keep that spirit this week. A couple changes this week with availability being much better. Looking to get back on track with a good win.

IVYBRIDGE v CULLOMPTON

Ivybridge (Adam Huxtable): Team still not finalised. Couple missing and we are just waiting on a couple with fitness issues. Looking forward to playing at home this weekend. Looking for the lads to play positively and get the result we want.

Cullompton (Todd Scrace): It's a big game for us this weekend. There is a cluster of teams were are in touch of and a win would mean we make up some distance.  As always we will have to be at our best and for everything to fall into place but we're confident we can get it done.

Euan Tinsley and Adam Monkley return to the side, as well as Jason Parr. We are beyond delighted to have Jason back with us (from Abbotskerswell). A player that we were sad to see go but he knew he was always welcome back. He will have a monumental impact with both bat and ball and I feel his return is the missing piece this season.

TAVISTOCK v IPPLEPEN

Ipplepen (Simon Tapley): We have four players out this week for different reasons, but the Penrice brothers and the Durman brothers can't play. We bring in Benny Forsey back from university and two 15 year olds: Toby Holroyd who will keep and Noah Sutton on debut who has had a fantastic start to the season in the second team including a 15-ball 33 to tie a game against Plymstock.

Looking forward to visiting Tavvy, who look a good side, but also having the young lads in the side. Seeing their development is always a bonus for a club, who are very proud of their junior section.

Tavistock (Shaun Daymond): Myself and James McGahey away. Ian Gray, Ryan Burke and Billy Barriball back in. Ipplepen have had a decent start and it’s always a solid game against them. When we have the availability we expect to give anyone a tough game.
