School Summer Tournaments 2022

As the school’s indoor finals are taking place, we turn our attention to the summer and the playing opportunities available to both Primary and Secondary Schools across the county – are your local schools getting involved?

If you have good links with your Primary and Secondary Schools, you might want to highlight the opportunities open to them to take part in cricket this summer term. Or maybe you are a teacher and would like to get more involved at your school.

Primary Schools

During the month of May we run Primary School Festivals for KS2. There are mixed festivals and girls only festivals, which are held at a cricket club in each regional area. Supported by Chance to Shine, these tournaments will take on the new format played at Dynamos Cricket, so games are fast paced and inclusive.

All the details of the primary school tournaments are here on this page of the Devon Cricket website.

All regional rounds lead to the county finals which are played in June.

Secondary Schools: Chance to Compete

As well as primary school festivals, we also run outdoor 8 aside softball festivals for secondary school mixed and girls only teams. The regional rounds also take place in May, with the finals in June. Details and dates can be found on the website here
