Corinthian Cup finals days moved back a week due to bad weather

No play tomorrow at Ivybridge

TOMORROW'S (Sunday's) Corinthian Cup finals day at Ivybridge has been cancelled due to the soggy state of the weather.

David Sheppard, the Tolchards DCL secretary said there was a simple reason why an early decision to postpone finals day had been made.

Sunday, August 15 is the reserve date for the three-game festival of cricket at the same venue and will be used.

"It is too wet," said Sheppard, "and unlikley to get three matches played so an early decision to move to next week."
