Exmouth

PREMIER PROSPECTS – WEEK 14

SANDFORD V SIDMOUTH

Sandford (Richard Foan): Just looking forward to getting out and playing some cricket again this weekend. Lawrence Walker is isolating so Harry Everitt comes in after some wickets last weekend in the seconds. We are on a good run of form at the moment and playing some good cricket. Got a tough run of games coming up so hopefully continue that form. After being at the wrong end of the division in previous seasons it's nice to be at the top end. The pressure is off so we can just enjoy our cricket and go express our selves!!

Sidmouth (Luke Bess): We will go out aiming to win every game as always. I am unavailable due to an on-going back injury, as well as Matt Parker who has an enforced break due to suspension. Cam Grainger will lead the side.

EXETER V HATHERLEIGH

Exeter: Nothing to report

Hatherleigh: Good to be back playing after last week’s cancellation due to Covid and putting people’s health firsty over cricket. We are heading into a run of some must-win games. Looking forward to playing at Exeter and looking to do the double over them. I return after a ban. Ryan Davies and Charlie Nielsen also come back in to the side.

CORNWOOD V EXMOUTH

Cornwood (Jackson Thompson): Nothing really changes for us apart from going out there and believing we can turn this around and get results. A few players are returning in Max Finzel and Ben Beaumont. Looking forward to a good game.

Exmouth (Fin Marks): Richard Baggs and new lad Doug Naylor from the Navy come in. Billy Rudolph missing and Tim Piper out. George Greenway comes back in from his suspension

PLYMOUTH V HEATHCOAT

Plymouth (Jon Varcoe): Sam Stein is out. He's getting married today so unavailable tomorrow. Harry Stephenson also unavailable so Ollie Parsons will take the gloves. Matt Petherbridge is back (from Callington). Heathcoat are top of the table for a reason and are always tough opposition. We are in good form so confident that we can put in a good performance

Heathcoat (Peter Randerson): I am still unavailable but Liam Lewis is back from a family wedding and will lead the side in my absence. Plymouth will be a tough game and we will need to be on top form to win.

BOVEY TRACEY V PAIGNTON

Bovey Tracey(Lewis Hammett): We've been poor the last few weeks and looking to put a few things right. Had a really good training session this week so hoping to take that into the weekend.  Obviously not 100 per cent safe especially with a Hatherleigh double-header next weekend but still looking to push up the table.  Seb Ansley is away. Kriston Yearwood to get some batting and bowling in the 2ndXI. Sam Taylor has been scoring a few runs and comes in with bowling all-rounder Will Christophers. Paignton is always a good game and looking forward to it. I think we are fairly evenly matched and think it will be close. Looking for a performance like the one at their place.

Paignton (George Benton): Our aim is to get a run of form and top-three finish. If we achieve that I'll for sure be happy but we have to take it one game at a time. We still have such a young team and the lads have plenty of time so it's going to be an enjoyable run to the end and hopefully we finally get one over Bovey. One change. George Allen is away after having the birth of his daughter. Carl McFarlane replaces him after a very impressive knock last week in the 2ndXI.
