ARCH-rivals Sidmouth and Heathcoat have been drawn against each other in the first round of next season’s Royal London Club Championship.

Heathcoat will have home advantage in the Group Nine tie, which has been scheduled for Sunday, May 16. The winners will be at home to either Bridgwater or Clevedon in round two, which is booked for June 6.

In the other half of the draw there is an all-Cornish first-round tie between Callington and Redruth. The winners will entertain either Grampound Road or Paignton in round two.

The regional winners from Group Nine will face their Group Ten counterparts in round four for a place in the national last eight. The September final will be on a date and at a venue yet to be decided.

One hundred and twenty-eight clubs from Redruth in the West to Barnard Castle in the North East have entered the 2021 competition.
