Opening of Clubhouses and Pavilions from 4th July

Plymouth CC

Cricket clubs with a bar and/or food serving facilities can re-open from 4th July providing they follow all Government guidance

Clubs are under no pressure to open their doors and should only do so if they feel comfortable and are able to meet the requirements set out in the full guidance document

Clubs can also view and download resources from Sport England to help promote key messages to members using facilities.

Toilet facilities - Toilets can be opened at clubs if required, but particular care should be taken by those using them and those cleaning them. Where they are open, venues must ensure soap and water is provided and they are cleaned regularly.

Changing Rooms - Indoor facilities, apart from toilets and through-ways should be kept closed. When accessing and leaving toilets you should wipe down areas of contact, wash hands thoroughly and use paper towels where possible and avoid touching any surfaces in transit.

The ECB have now released detailed guidance on preparing clubhouses and grounds for when recreational clubs can return to playing cricket (Step 4 of the ECB Roadmap for the Return of Recreational Cricket). This includes further details about opening on 4th July.
