Devon Day offer being repeated for county club members at Taunton

DEVON CCC members have been given another chance to watch Somerset in action at Taunton free of charge.

Devon Day was introduced last season when Somerset offered Devon CCC members free admission to the first day of the game against Hampshire in early May.

Devon Day was such a success it is being repeated on Tuesday, September 10 when Somerset commence a home game against Yorkshire.

County secretary Nigel Mountford, who took a party to last year’s Devon Day, said the arrangements would be much the same.

“Devon members need to find the St James’ Gate at the ground and show their membership cards to the gateman,” said Mountford.

“Somerset will give our members a ticket with details of where they can sit.

“Membership cards were sent out in March with paperwork for the annual meeting and that is the first place to look if you don’t know where your card is.

“It would be nice to see members and perhaps some past players too for what was an enjoyable day out last year.”

There is still time to become a county member or renew a lapsed membership. Contact Rachel Tozer on email at racheltozer@aol.com
