Devon celebrate winning the 50-over cup at Wormsley in 2014

DEVON’S bid to become Unicorns T20 champions has been put on hold for 24 hours due to bad weather.

The Getty family ground at Wormsley in Buckinghamshire was due to host the semis and finals today (Sunday).

Norfolk and Cheshire were due to meet first with Devon facing Berkshire in the second semi-final after lunch.

All three matches will be played tomorrow (Monday) subject to the weather improving.

Devon have a second final appointment at Wormsley on Wednesday when they play Cheshire in the 50-over Unicorns Trophy final.

Somerset have withdrawn dual-registered all-rounder Ben Green from both cup squads to allow him to rest a back strain.

Josh Mailling, the Bovey Tracey opening batsman, was a late replacement in the 14-man squad for Green.
